Call with Investors and Townhall

Published on February 12, 2010

We had our call with investors on Wednesday of this week and we were able to set forth the Company's priorities and focus for 2010. We had good questions during the call about some of the Company's challenges and opportunties in 2010 and overall I think we were able to give a comprehensive review of the business and customers isssues that we are facing here in the short term.

Today we had our quarterly town hall meeting and I think this one was the best call we have had to date! The interaction between all particpants has definetly improved and the feedback I received afterwards indicated that everyone appreciated the frank and open discussion on some key issues that are on everyone's mind.

Linda Sevison at Idaho Correctional Center:

One thing that I appreciate very much is the fact that the information you share during the Town Hall meetings is not "sugar-coated". When you speak, I believe we are getting the truth and getting to the heart of the matter. If we are going to stay on top in this business, we have to face reality, even though it may be "painful". Thanks, also, for answering the questions that I submitted. I appreciate your comments.

Thanks so much Linda. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. I will always try to deliver messages, both good and difficult, as plainly as possible. Thanks also for what you do for us at ICC. I am proud of your facility and really enjoyed my recent visit.

James Carey at DBCF:

Sadly, reality is not always positive, with that being said, when we here at Diamondback had our recall meeting to confirm our closing, it happened to be at 10 a.m. on my birthday. While that was not the gift I had hoped for I walked away from that meeting, knowing the truth. Warden Blair, as painful as it was for him, was honest with us all. For that I respect him as well as my company. Far too many companys exist where the staff is not deemed important enough to know what is going on with the company they represent, I commend CCA for maintaning the open door policy and allowing my company to be just that.......mine.
