Arizona
Frank W. Ashford
has been promoted to chief of security at Red Rock Correctional Center. Ashford joined CCA in 2001 as a correctional officer at Central Arizona Detention Center, where he also served as in a number of operational positions before being promoted to assistant chief of security at La Palma Correctional Center. Prior to joining CCA, Ashford spent 14 years with the Arizona Department of Corrections.
Colorado
Michael Miller
has been promoted to warden at Crowley County Correctional Facility. Miller joined CCA in 1996 as a shift supervisor at Bent County Correctional Facility, where he was promoted to chief of security. He later served as assistant warden at Crowley, Kit Carson Correctional Facility and California City Correctional Center. Prior to joining CCA, Miller worked for the Teton County Sherriff's Department in Jackson Hole, Wyo. and the Otero County Sherriff's Department in La Junta, Colo.
Florida
Lakichia Wilson
has been named chief of unit management at Moore Haven Correctional Facility. Wilson joined CCA in 1996 as a correctional officer at T. Don Hutto Residential Center and was promoted to assistant shift supervisor at Bartlett State Jail, where she also served as shift supervisor and quality assurance manager before becoming chief of security at the formerly CCA-operated Gadsden Correctional Facility.
William Hamilton
has been named chief of security at Moore Haven Correctional Facility. Prior to joining CCA, Hamilton spent 13 years with the Florida Department of Corrections, where he started as a correctional officer and later served as sergeant, administrative lieutenant, captain and major.
Facility Support Center
Marcelo Ariola
has been promoted to managing director, Project Development in Real Estate. Ariola joined CCA in 2007 as senior director, Site Acquisition and later became senior director, Continuous Improvement. Prior to joining CCA, Ariola worked in sales and marketing at Gas Depot, an independent oil distributor. He also served with Amoco/BP and Mobile Oil Corporation in marketing, real estate and engineering. Ariola holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, Calif., and a law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
Bryan Bledsoe
has been named director, Classification and Security Threat Groups. Bledsoe brings 30 years of corrections experience with the Federal Bureau of Prison (BOP), where he served in a number of roles, including camp administrator, associate warden and warden. Most recently, Bledsoe was responsible for the implementation of BOP's first Special Management Unit institution for STG-identified inmates. He holds a bachelor's degree in criminology and sociology from Indiana State University.
Jeremy Wiley
has been promoted to managing director, Partnership Relations in Federal Partnership Development. Wiley joined CCA in 1997 as director, Government Relations and was promoted to senior director, Federal Government Relations. Prior to joining CCA, Wiley worked as director, Government Affairs for a Washington, D.C., lobbying firm and spent two years as a legislative assistant for a member of Congress. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Georgia
Stephen Dotson
has transferred to Jenkins County Correctional Center as assistant warden. Dotson joined CCA in 1996 as a training manager at South Central Correctional Facility and served as assistant warden at Hardeman County Correctional Facility, Whiteville Correctional Facility and West Tennessee Detention Facility. Dotson served as warden at Whiteville and two formerly CCA-operated facilities: Pamlico Correctional Facility and Lawrenceville Correctional Center. Prior to joining CCA, Dotson spent eight years with the Tennessee Department of Correction.
Mike Heffron
has been named assistant warden at Adams County Correctional Center. Heffron brings 22 years of corrections experience, having worked for the U.S. Department of Justice as a senior international corrections trainer in Baghdad, Iraq. Prior to that, he spent 21 years with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Heffron also served for four years with the U.S. Air Force Security Police. He holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from North Carolina Central University.
Louisiana
Tim Keith
has transferred to Winn Correctional Center as warden. Keith joined CCA in 2004 as assistant warden at Winn and later was named director, Operational Audits at the Facility Support Center. Prior to joining CCA, Keith spent 22 years with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
Mississippi
Raymond Busby
has been promoted to chief of security at North Fork Correctional Facility. Busby joined CCA in 1997 as a correctional officer at Crossroads Correctional Center, where he later served as assistant shift supervisor and shift supervisor. Busby also served in a number of roles at the formerly CCA-operated David L. Moss Criminal Justice Center and Diamondback Correctional Facility. Busby has also served as a SORT commander at three CCA facilities. Prior to joining CCA, he served for four years in the U.S. Marine Corps.
New Jersey
Orlando Rodriguez
has been named warden at Elizabeth Detention Center. Rodriguez joined CCA in 1995 as assistant warden at the formerly CCA-operated Guayama Correctional Center. He also served in leadership roles at Ponce Adult Correctional Facility, McRae Correctional Facility, Gadsden Correctional Facility, Bay County Jail and Hernando County Jail. Rodriguez later joined Operations at the Facility Support Center as an assistant warden deployed for special assignments. Before joining CCA, Rodriguez worked for the U.S. District Court as assistant court monitor for the District of Puerto Rico and as a special assistant with the Department of Correction and Rehabilitation of Puerto Rico. Rodriguez served for eight years in the U.S. Army Reserve as a member of the Military Police Corps. He holds a juris doctor degree from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Law.
New Mexico
Deborah Garcia
has been named chief of unit management at New Mexico Women's Correctional Facility. Garcia joined CCA in 1997 as a correctional officer at Huerfano County Correctional Center, where she also served in a range of operational roles. She first joined the New Mexico facility as a quality assurance manager. Prior to joining CCA, Garcia worked as a sheriff's deputy at the Huerfano County Sherriff's Department.
Nevada
Charlotte Collins
has transferred to Nevada Southern Detention Center as warden. Collins joined CCA in 1989 as a classification case manager at Venus Pre-Release Center and has served in a number of operational roles at Cleveland Pre-Release Center, Bartlett State Jail and Elizabeth Detention Center, where she later became warden. Prior to joining CCA, Collins spent four years with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
Texas
Jackie Banks
has transferred to Bridgeport Pre-Parole Transfer Facility as warden. Banks joined CCA in 1997 as assistant warden at Dawson State Jail and later served in the same role at Delta Correctional Facility, Leavenworth Detention Center, Wilkinson County Correctional Facility and Correctional Treatment Facility. Before joining CCA, Banks spent 11 years with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
Mary Pam Hopkins
has been promoted to chief of unit management at Mineral Wells Pre-Parole Transfer Facility. Hopkins joined CCA in 1998 as a correctional officer at Mineral Wells, where she has also served as senior correctional officer, assistant shift supervisor, shift supervisor and unit manager.
