2012 CCA Facility Employees of the Year
Every year, each CCA facility identifies one employee, often among hundreds of fellow colleagues, who has displayed a steadfast commitment to The CCA Way. Trust, integrity, respect and loyalty are all traits that can be found in CCA's Employees of the Year. CCA is proud to highlight all of the 2012 winners. Congratulations to each of them on their outstanding achievement. Please also view the listings of CCA's 2011 Employees of the Year and 2010 Employees of the Year.

I would like to express my sincerest appreciation for the honor of being chosen Employee of the Year for the NGDC. I am humbled for this incredible opportunity and this would not have been possible without a great support team. Thank you to each person who made this happen.
Congratulations to each of my fellow CCA family members for joining me on this journey. I am so proud of each of you as well!
May God Bless You and prosper you in the 2013 calendar year!
Matthew Moye at Stewart Detention Center:
I know how dedicated Mrs. Earlene Shingles of Stewart Detention Center is and what a difference her hard work makes. To see all these hard workers on one page is very inspirational, knowing that each has done so much.
Arch McCune at NEOCC:
Congratulations to all! Good job!
Petty at Dawson:
Keep up the good work!!!
Stephen Smith at Wheeler CF:
Wheeler's Employee of the Year, Lenard Harris is very deserving. I enjoy working with him day in and day out. He is security minded, firm and fair with the inmates and a great motivator for other team members.
Steve at Prairie Correctional Facility:
I am proud to actually have worked with and know two of these individuals this year. If the other 61 EOY's are of the same caliber, I know we have some of the best!
ThomasCorman at HCCF:
It is no wonder that Gary Stoddard has received this award. Everytime I see Gary he is firm, fair and consistent.
Linda Sevison at Idaho Correctional Center:
It is a tremendous accomplishment to be recognized by your co-workers as an exceptional employee, and that is what these individuals represent. These are individuals who go above and beyond their duties, giving of themselves to go the extra mile and excel at their assignments. It's not just about coming in to do your job and going home--it's about leaving your imprint on the people you work with and being individuals of high integrity. Kudos to ALL of you!

Patty Lavigne, HR Manager at Bridgeport :
Way to go, Captain Franklin!
Rena DelPrincipe at Mineral Wells PPTF:
Ms. Massey has definitely earned the employee of the year. She is an asset to her department and the unit. There is not one person she won't jump in and assist , she is not afraid of hard work. She is also humble and thinks "I'm just doing my job", when in fact she is not only doing her job but assisting and boosting the morale of any and every one she comes in contact with. Kudos to you Ms. Massey!
I would also like to mention that I have worked with Gloria Franklin from the Bridgeport Unit and she too is very deserving. She is "by the book Franklin" and is very good at what she does. Kudos S/S Franklin!
Sheila Raines at Moore Haven:
Thank you for all that you do for CCA and keep up the good work.
Chuck Keeton at CADC:
I appreciate so much our employee of the year at CADC and know that each honoree throughout CCA is as special to his or her facility as Mr. Hillis is to us.
All of our CCA teammates are the best of the best. To be named employee of the year at any of our facilities is certainly an elite honor. Well done!
Cole at Lindsey State Jail:
Congratulations
Shaun Wallace at MWPPTF:
Billy Massey OF the MWPPTF classification department is very deserving of this award. She is always very helpful and very kind to staff when we need her assistance with any classification issues.
Breanna Samples at North Georgia Detention Center:
Way to go Mrs. Bonnie!! I am so proud of you!! You truly deserve to be NGDC's Employee of the Year!! Keep up the great work!
Officer Gary Stoddard at Hardeman County Correctional Facility:
I truly believe out of my almost 16 years of working at HCCF I have never met anyone with such character as Officer Stoddard. He exemplifies everything we (CCA) stands for!! One of his co-workers just said in a recent email "He works sick, tired, and sometimes hungry but he never complains" , "He is an exceptional man and a loving father who works countless hours and innumerable days to provide for his daughter". These types of comments warm my heart! We need more employees like Gary Stoddard!! This is a man who was well deserving of Employee of the Year! Congratulations Officer Stoddard.
Nena Moss

To be selected employees of the year, out of over 17,000 employees, is impressive in its self. But to reach such recognition while working in an often times dangerous environment makes you very special people. Thank you for all you do every day. Without you and those you work with CCA would not have the reputation of being the best in the industry.
