Moved and Honored
Officer Jarvis Williams presents Chief Acree and Warden Barry Goodrich with the American flag.
I would like to share an experience that occurred recently. Coffee Correctional Facility has an employee, Jarvis Williams, who is currently defending our freedom in Afghanistan.
He recently returned to Georgia for a brief leave and visited the facility. He presented me with a certificate and the American flag. I was moved and honored.
He stands, more than can be imagined, on the CCA principles of Integrity, Respect, Trust, and Loyalty. Understanding his call to duty, Officer Williams will return to Afghanistan until his assignment ends in April 2010. We join his family in hoping for his continued safety and a speedy return home.
His service to our country and the sacrifices it requires are a testimony of courage, and we are proud to have him as a staff member, co-worker, and friend.
